Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data, analytics, cookies, and browser storage on this site.

Last updated: 29 March 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Aurecima Fitness collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you visit https://fitness.aurecima.com and use its calculators, guides, downloads, and related pages.

Who we are

Aurecima Fitness is the operator of this website and acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Controller name: Aurecima Fitness

If you have privacy questions, want to exercise your rights, or need help with this policy, please use the contact details on our Contact page.

What this site currently does

This site currently provides educational fitness and nutrition calculators, guides, and downloadable resources. It does not require account creation and does not provide saved user dashboards in this version.

Calculator inputs are used to generate on-page results. In the current version, we do not intentionally create persistent user profiles or saved calculator histories linked to named user accounts.

Although some calculator inputs can relate to fitness or wellbeing, we currently use them only to produce the result you request on the page at the time you use the tool.

Personal data we may collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process the following categories of information:

  • calculator input data you choose to enter, such as age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goals, and similar calculation fields;
  • technical and usage data, such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, timestamps, referral source, and standard server or request information;
  • analytics and interaction data, but only if you have accepted analytics;
  • contact information and message content if you choose to contact us;
  • consent and preference data, including whether you accepted or rejected analytics.

How we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

  • operate, maintain, and improve the website;
  • generate calculator outputs and display results on screen;
  • understand how visitors use the site and which pages or resources are useful, where analytics consent has been given;
  • monitor site performance, troubleshoot errors, and protect the site against misuse or abuse;
  • respond to enquiries or support requests you send to us;
  • keep records of privacy preferences and compliance choices.

Our lawful bases

We rely on different lawful bases depending on the activity:

  • Consent: for non-essential analytics and similar technologies where consent is required.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the site, respond to messages, prevent misuse, and manage basic business records, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
  • Legal obligation: where we need to comply with applicable law, regulation, or lawful requests.

Cookies, browser storage, and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including browser storage, to support site functionality and, where you choose to allow it, analytics.

We use browser storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics so the site can respect that choice on later visits.

If you accept analytics, the site may load Google Analytics and record information about page views and interactions such as route clicks, call-to-action clicks, and download clicks.

If you reject analytics, analytics should not load for that visit based on the current implementation.

You can change your choice by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser and then revisiting the site so the banner appears again. If we later add a dedicated cookie settings control, we will update this page.

Downloads and linked resources

If you download a file from this site, our hosting or delivery providers may process standard request data such as the time of the request, file requested, browser details, and technical log data needed to serve the file securely.

If you follow links to third-party websites, those sites have their own privacy policies and practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites that we do not control.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to run the site, such as providers involved in:

  • hosting, deployment, and content delivery;
  • analytics, where you have consented;
  • site security, fraud prevention, diagnostics, or technical support;
  • legal or regulatory compliance, where disclosure is required or reasonably necessary.

Those providers should only process data on appropriate instructions and for legitimate operational purposes.

International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we aim to ensure appropriate legal safeguards are in place, such as adequacy regulations, contractual protections, or other lawful transfer mechanisms recognised under applicable data protection law.

You can contact us if you want more information about the safeguards used for relevant transfers.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, compliance, troubleshooting, or responding to enquiries.

  • calculator inputs are not intended to be retained as saved account records in the current version of the site;
  • consent preferences remain in your browser until they are changed or cleared;
  • server, security, and diagnostic logs may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the site;
  • analytics data retention depends on the settings of the analytics service in use and applies only where consent has been granted;
  • messages you send to us may be kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • request portability of certain data;
  • object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

Right to object: you have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interests where applicable.

Right to withdraw consent: where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. For analytics, you can currently do this by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser so the consent banner appears again and making a new choice.

Children

This site is not intentionally directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that is designed to build registered user profiles or accounts in the current version of the site.

Automated decision-making

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals.

How to complain

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first using our Contact page so we have a chance to address it.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you think your personal data has been handled unlawfully or unfairly.

Visit the ICO complaints page

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or business changes.

When we make material updates, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. If we introduce new processing that materially changes how your personal data is used, we should update this page before or when that change goes live.
